Pour fêter ses 50 ans, le DWJ avait concocté, ce week-end, un programme à la fois sportif et ludique, le tout placé sous le signe de la solidarité. La base nautique des Bretonnières a connu une belle animation pendant tout le week-end.

Der Weta hat uns gut herum gebracht. In zwei Wasserdichten Säcken haben wir genug für ein paar Übernachtungen unterbringen können. Leider war die Insel zu klein oder der Weta zu schnell. . . Das nächste Mal wird die Tour länger.

Le 7ème National Weta a eu lieu à Carnac les 3, 4 et 5 juillet 2015.

28 trimarans (20 doubles et huit solitaires) ont participé au Critérium national weta, qui a eu lieu du 3 au 5 juillet au Yacht-club de Carnac (Le Télégramme du 4 juillet). Le premier jour, les concurrents ont évolué sur un parcours construit devant le Yacht-club de Carnac.

In the shadows of the world's great ocean going liners a gathering took place in Southampton water on 6/7th June of somewhat smaller vessels. The U. K. 's Weta National Championships came to the south coast of England and was hosted by the Weston Sailing Club.

A dozen Wetas gathered at Weston Sailing Club in bright sunshine and a fresh breeze for their first ever regatta weekend which was therefore designated 'the Nationals'. The Weta is the world's largest insect and gatherings of the class are referred to as swarms.
