2016 Weta Nationals started out no different than last year with torrential downpours, flooded roads and wind insanity! Although, there was one exception, Randy Smyth, recent commentator for the 2016 Olympics sailing events in Rio, a two time Olympic Silver medalist and National Champion many times over was in attendance.September 26th, 2016

Yacht Club du Der (1-3 July)The National WETA this year took place in Champagne in early July 2016. 28 boats gathered for three days of racing on the magnificent 4800ha Der lake, with good wind and an impeccable organization from the Yacht Club and the race Committee.July 22nd, 2016
