We had 4 SoCal boats and 3 NorCal boats converge on Santa Barbara, AKA the California Riviera, for postcard perfect champagne sailing: Water temperature: 70 degrees. Air Temp: 85 degrees. Sky: clear and blue. Ocean: clear and blue.

DUCK, NCWeta Nationals 2015! Come and race on the waters where the first Weta’s were sailed in the US! The 2015 Weta Nationals will be held at Nor’Banks Sailing in Duck, Sept 23-26. Weta Fest Champion Mike Krantz will be there to try and keep his winning streak alive.

This year we used the 2015 Gorge Dinghy Invite to host our Weta West Coast Championships on July 24-26, making it a fair distance for our Seattle contingent since it is usually held in the Bay Area or last year, in Santa Barbara.

The annual Wine and Roses Regatta is coming up in Santa Barbara on August 15 and 16. This is an excellent opportunity to get a taste of Southern California at its best. The regatta is always run very well by Steve Leo and the Hobie Cat Fleet.

Columbia River Gorge, ORYou haven't sailed until you've been on a Weta Trimaran at the Gorge. No wonder kite boarders and windsurfers from around the globe come to this spectacular destination. Falling like dominos today, one after the other, capsizing.
